My Spin Care ("we", "us") provides laundry, dry cleaning and fabric care with pickup and delivery in Sankarankovil, Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, the My Spin Care app and the Spin Partner staff app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Data we collect

• Mobile number — to create your account and log you in with a one-time password (OTP).
• Name and optional email — to address you and contact you about orders.
• Pickup and delivery addresses — so our riders can collect and return your clothes.
• Order details — services chosen, items, pickup slots, order history, referrals and wallet balance.
• Payment information — payment status and UPI transaction references. Payments are made in your own UPI app; we never see or store your UPI PIN, card or bank details.
• Device information — a push notification token so we can send order updates to your phone.

For staff using the Spin Partner app we additionally record the orders assigned to them and cash collected.

2. How we use your data

• To log you in and keep your account secure.
• To schedule pickups, process, deliver and bill your orders.
• To send order updates by app notification, WhatsApp or SMS.
• To answer your questions and resolve complaints.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. WhatsApp and SMS

When you log in, we send your OTP through the WhatsApp Business Platform (operated by Meta) or by SMS. We share only your mobile number and the code with these providers for delivery. We may also send order updates on WhatsApp; you can ask us to stop at any time.

4. Who we share data with

• Our riders and staff — your name, phone and address for the orders they handle.
• Service providers — trusted partners who help us send messages and app notifications and host our systems, only as needed to run the service.
• Authorities — when required by law.

5. How long we keep data

We keep your account data while your account is active. Order and payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 8 years). Login codes expire within 5 minutes.

6. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). OTPs are stored only in hashed form, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for messages. To delete your account, see Delete your account and data.

8. Children

Our service is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
